1. What is Journey NY and what is our goal?


Journey is a dedicated and creative entreprise with one and
unique goal : helping foreigners find a secure and confortable
accomodation to start their american dream in one of the best
cities in the world that is New York City.
We know how hard it is to leave the place that you call home
and start from scratch in another city without knowing anyone.
Well DON’T PANIC you got us and we will make sure that
we got everything covered for you before and during your
stay with us!


2. Is there an agency fee ?


THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE.
All our prices are all included.
Yes you read it properly : NO additional fees but our team is
always available to answer to any of your needs.


3. What are the documents I would have to provide for the
booking ?


OUR MOTO è SIMPLICITY
• Copy of your ID: valid passport
• Copy of your Visa
• A valid e-mail address in order to send you the lease that
you will have to sign in order to book your room.
• A security deposit


4. How do I pay the rent ?


We accept all means of payment.


5. What is included in the price ?


All our apartments are entirely furnished as you can see in the
pictures. We provide all the basic (and more) necessities.
Noted that we also provide all the amenities needed for a perfect
living, meaning : dishes, cutlery, vaccum, mop and more.
We’ll be happy to provide any more item if you feel that something
is lacking. Indeed, being respectful is key.


6. Can I bring a guest to stay over?


When you share an apartement with other people, you are no
longer the able to take the decisions alone.
You can have a friend or a member of your family over as long as
you make the landlord aware of it and that your roomates agree to
it.


7. Are the rooms pet friendly ?


We love animals but some of them needs a lot of space and noted
also that some people are allergic and/or do not feel comfortable
around pets.


You will have to confirm with the landlord depending of your pet.


8. What is the check-in and check-out process ?


• Check-in : meet-up with the landlord to check you into the
appartement, give you your keys and show you around.

• Check-out: meet-up with the landlord to make sure
everything is as clean as when you came in and give you a
hug because we are sad that you’re leaving us!
Yes, simplicity is our favorite word !


9. Can I smoke in the apt ?


Unfortunately, smoking is NOT allowed in any of the apartment.
BUT, in almost all of our apartments, we do have a balcony and/or
a rooftop.


10. Who is responsible for the cleaning?


• The landlord is responsible for welcoming the tenant in a clean
environment.
• The tenant is responsible for leaving his/her room as clean as they
found it.
